CONFERENCE PRESENTATIONS AND INFORMATION

The 22nd NW Patient Safety Conference’s faculty is finalized and registration is open! The theme is “Navigating Rough Seas”. Are you beginning to feel a little seasick because the health care environment is so turbulent? Do you see icebergs ahead? This year’s conference will provide insight and actionable tools and techniques to help us navigate the challenging and unique time we are in. So, “hold fast” and join us virtually October 16 and 17, 2025!

Why is the Northwest Patient Safety Conference popular?

It’s the program. The conference is a collaboration between the Washington Patient Safety Coalition, the Oregon Patient Safety Commission, and Health Quality B.C. We field interesting and applicable topics presented by inspiring and thought-provoking faculty.

It’s accessible to everyone, regardless of where you live or work. It’s live through a virtual format so you don’t have to drive or fly for hours. Have a scheduling conflict? No problem, the live presentations are recorded so you can watch what you missed for a year.

It’s a value. There aren’t many conferences where health care professionals can get 14 hours of accredited programming for BCPA, CPHQ, CPHRM, CPPS and Nursing Contact Hours for $85 US. If you’re a patient or health care student, it’s free.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

  • Patient safety practitioners, risk managers, quality leaders, and healthcare executives.
  • Clinical program leaders and frontline clinicians from across the spectrum of care.
  • Claims representatives and insurance professionals.
  • Patient advocates and patient experience officers, patient and family advisory council members.
  • Graduate and undergraduate health professions students. FREE ATTENDENCE!
  • Interested patients, family members of patients, and community members. FREE ATTENDENCE!

Thank You Early Conference Sponsors

We are pleased to invite interested sponsors to support the WPSC’s 21st annual Northwest Patient Safety Conference. This annual event brings together healthcare leaders, advocates, and patients concerned with the critical topic of patient safety. This year’s virtual conference is ½ days on October 16 & 17 and continues a fantastic Pacific NW partnership with the Oregon Patient Safety Commission and the Health Quality BC. The virtual format and regional approach registered over 500 in 2024 and attracted an incredible lineup of speakers!

Sponsorship information is available here.

Thank you to WSHA, HQBC, United Healthcare and BETA who are leading the way for this year’s sponsorship!

We Need Sponsors for The 22nd NW Safety Conference

Please ask your organization to support the live, virtual conference on October 16 & 17. We’re looking for sponsorships of $1,500 to $10,000 to support the conference’s mission to provide accessible and affordable healthcare safety curriculum. The event is attended by over 500 health care professionals, patients, and families. It offers over 14 hours of continuing education credits, a low registration fee, and free registration for patients, families, and students. Sponsorships make the event accessible and affordable for everyone in Washington. Please ask your organization to support the event or better yet, ask a rich friend. The PNW has plenty of them ?.

It is the only event of its kind in the PNW, uniting healthcare professionals, providers, patients, families, and caregivers from all care settings for networking and engaging in sessions with industry thought leaders invested in improving the patient experience.

Sponsorship information is available here. Conference is located here. The program is going to be another home run!

It is a collaboration between the Washington Patient Safety Coalition, the Oregon Patient Safety Commission, and Health Quality B.C.
