Description: Join us for our Surgical Patient Optimization webinar series, co-hosted by the Bree Collaborative and the Surgical and Spine COAP. Throughout the series, we will explore key strategies to prepare patients for surgery and promote positive perioperative outcomes.
In this session, clinicians will dive into how unrecognized high blood sugar in non-diabetic patients and preoperative anemia can dramatically increase surgical risk—and what we can do about it. Participants will gain practical insights into identifying these often-overlooked risks and implementing evidence-based approaches to improve surgical safety and recovery.
